Transcyko have upgraded our internal gear grinding precision from DIN6, the standard for industrial precision machinery, to the DIN4 aerospace precision standard with the addition of the Liebherr LGG 700 grinder for precision beveloid gearbox manufacturing. This evolution in our manufacturing systems is in parallel to our DIN1 capable Kapp Niles and Klingelnberg gear grinding and measurement systems that we introduced for our cycloidal gear production in 2023.
DIN6 is the level of precision most commonly used in the extruder gearbox manufacturing industry. DIN4 precision grinding to the German DIN 3962 standard means that Transcyko rubber extruder gearbox internal components are ground to approximately twice the level of smoothness that is attained at DIN6. The results speak for themselves, with significantly increased longevity and higher performance when compared to our industry competitors.
